Job Description:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UKs fastest growing fashion brands as an Assistant Merchandiser. Key Responsibilities:

• Updating Monday Trading reports and distributing to wider teams.
• Able to identify highlights/lowlights from the previous week and suggest key actions.
• Following up on any actions from Trade meetings with the relevant teams and reporting back to the Merchandiser.
• Supporting the Merchandiser with ad hoc analysis when requested.
• Supporting the Merchandiser with any in season and pre-season planning.
• Ownership and management of the critical path to ensure all intake is on track and any amendments/delays are flagged to the Merchandiser.
• Making sure systems are up to date with all PO amendments and new intake dates when agreed with suppliers.
• Highlight to the Merchandiser any lateness or rolling intake and suggest actions.
• Take ownership of tracking intake for key launches and provide updates to the wider teams.
• Liaising with freight forwarders and updating internal documents with accurate dates/booking info.
• Supporting with any PO raising or amendments when required.
• Reviewing external partners’ critical paths and providing an update on all orders.
• Liaising with external partners on selections and POs.
• Supporting the Merchandiser with set up of products for the external partner.
• Attending external trade meetings alongside the Merchandiser and supporting on any actions.
• Reviewing sales for external partners and highlight any fast/slow sellers to the Merchandiser alongside suggested actions.
• Reviewing stock and availability for any selections by Buying/External Partners.
• Supporting the development and training of an MAA, as well as training of new Assistant Merchandisers.
• Updating WSSI/ Linecards and reviewing actions to be taken.

About you...

This role will suit someone currently working at Assistant Merchandiser level, or a Merchandise Assistant/MAA who is looking for their next step up. Ideally, you’ll have a fashion background and be interested in fashion.

You’ll be someone who is analytical and great with numbers, as well as being PC literate, particularly Excel. You’ll thrive working in a fun and fast-paced environment and be a strong communicator at all levels.
