Job Description:

As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for selecting, purchasing, and promoting the right mix of merchandise to ensure maximum profitability. You will work closely with the Buying and Design teams to develop and execute merchandising strategies that drive sales and enhance the overall customer experience.
The role will be based at our clients’ Head Office in Cheshire and hybrid working is in place.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyse sales data, market trends, and customer preferences to identify opportunities and risks.
• Develop and execute merchandising strategies to optimise product assortment, pricing, and placement.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to develop seasonal product lines that meet customer demand and align with brand aesthetic.
• Manage inventory levels through WSSI and line cards to maximise sell through and minimise excess stock.
• Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to stay ahead of the curve and identify new opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with vendors and negotiate favourable terms to ensure product quality, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery.
• Work closely with the concessions and wholesale team to ensure we meet the product needs of our partners.
• Provide regular reports and analysis to senior management on sales performance, inventory levels, and merchandising initiatives.
What we’re looking for:
This role will suit someone who is either currently working at Merchandiser level, or a Junior Merchandiser who is looking for their next step up. Ideally, you’ll have a fashion background and be interested in fashion.
You’ll be great with numbers and your strong analytical skills will allow you to interpret sales data and market trends. You’ll be someone who thrives on working in a fun and fast-paced environment as well as being a strong communicator at all levels.
