Job Description:

This is an amazing opportunity to join one of the most trusted, award-winning private healthcare clinics in the UK as a Receptionist.

This is a full-time position working shifts on a 2-week rota basis - on week 1 you will work the hours of 7am-3pm and on week 2 you will work 9am-5pm.

As a Receptionist, you will provide a continuous, quality service to all patients and visitors by managing the patient flow efficiently, delivering excellent customer service and a world-class patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:
• Always provide the highest standard of patient care, ensuring all patients, staff and visitors receive a warm, professional and courteous welcome on arrival to the clinic.
• Always deal effectively and efficiently with general enquiries.
• Always demonstrate an excellent telephone manner.
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
• Process payments and update patient record transactions appropriately.
• Ensure a high level of accuracy when recording patient information.
• General administrative duties (organising prescriptions/booking taxis/filing/photocopying/letter typing).
• Booking and scheduling patient appointments.
• Receive deliveries and distribute accordingly.
• Always maintain cleanliness and hygiene levels in reception areas.
• Provide patients with accurate and up to date information on request (via multiple channels).
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current procedures and policies.
• Work closely with all departments to ensure a smooth patient journey for every patient.
• Provide administrative support to other departments where required.

About You:
• Ideally you will have experience in a similar customer facing role.
• Previous administration experience is essential.
• Your excellent communication skills will enable you to confidently build rapport with patients and visitors whilst also remaining professional.
• You will be approachable, warm and welcoming.
• You will be exceptionally empathetic with a passion for patient/customer service.
• You'll have exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise your workload.
• You will be PC literate.
