This is a national role with stores across the country, the role will include hybrid working with sometime in the office, home and regular travel throughout the UK. Given the nature of the role, it would suit someone who is based in the Midlands.

The key purpose of this role is to ensure that exceptional operational and commercial standards are delivered throughout the store estate, providing an outstanding customer and store experience as well as a great place to work.

As the Head of Retail, you will:

• Develop the retail plan to drive top-line growth and bottom-line profitability.
• Provide direction, communication, development and motivation for Retail Field & Operations support teams.
• People Management of Retail Field & Operations support teams ensuring adequate and cost-effective resourcing across the estate. Ensuring success is achieved through our people, harnessing of talent and enabling succession planning for operational and professional growth.
• Ensure Retail Field & Operations support systems, activities and processes are robust, legally compliant and support current business activities and future growth.
• Engage and communicate with key stakeholders to ensure that the store stock package, retail presentation and store requirements are met to optimise sales.
• Oversee management of store estate through the Retail Field team, ensuring consistent high quality brand image through merchandising and customer service excellence.
• Ensure effective execution through the Retail Field team of retail operations including staffing, training, auditing and prevention of loss.
• Have budget responsibility for the Retail Field & Operations support area including forecasting of capital and operational expenditure, managing expenses and ensuring adherence to agreed budgets.

About You...

• Proven experience in a senior retail fashion role with a track-record of delivering high standards and fantastic results.
• You'll have a clean UK driving licence as well as the desire and ability to travel frequently.
• You'll be commercially astute with up-to-date market knowledge of the retail store landscape and competitors.
• An ability to analyse and present KPI's.
• You'll be a people person with the ability to lead, manage and motivate your teams.
• Your excellent communication and people skills will enable you to deal confidently with people at all levels of the business.
• You will be well organised, with the ability to be able to adapt to change, and someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
