This is a perfect role for a Merchandising Assistant / Merchandise Admin Assistant who is looking for their next step-up in their merchandising career. Likewise, it would also suit an existing Assistant Merchandiser who is seeking a new challenge with a successful merchandising team.

This is what you'll do:

• Assist the Junior Buyer with the day-to-day running of the department, including trade.
• Deliver relevant and concise department/category performance as required, suggesting actions or amendments to drive profitability.
• Manage stock inventory for those areas/departments for which you are responsible, highlighting sales opportunities and potential risk to sales/MD spend.
• Review commitment for your area/s of responsibility, maximising sales through availability.
• Accurately maintain weekly intake forecasts and lead critical path meetings with buying counterparts.
• Work with e-com, marketing and digital teams to ensure we are utilising all available channels to maximise sales, with a focus on newness and best sellers.
• Support the Buyer and Merchandiser in seasonal review and selection of the new season product range, considering sales performance, price architecture, intake margin, identifying key styles and seasonality.
• Have sufficient understanding of all merchandising processes. Can assist in creating new or improving existing ways of working
• Manage the workload of the MAA with a thorough understanding of their performance, escalating to the Merchandiser when needed.
• Sets the direction and objectives for the MAA, providing timely feedback and support to enable them to work to the best of their abilities.

Who we're looking for:

• A minimum of 12 months experience of working within merchandising.
• Analytical skills - confident in working with and extracting insight from data.
• Detail orientated with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• You'll enjoy working both as part of a team as well as being self-motivated.
• Flexible and open to change as the business grows.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong computer literacy skills- especially in Excel
