Job Description:

The role will be based at the company’s Head Office in Cheshire and hybrid working is in place.
Working within the Concession and Wholesale team, you will be responsible for nurturing relationships with key strategic concession partners. The business has seen extensive growth with its partners over the last 3 years, with further opportunity to continue its success with the right candidate in place.
You will select product from the main range to build a commercial fashion range for each individual partners’ customer requirements. Trading weekly with the partners, communicating opportunities for range development to the main range Buying and Merchandising team.
Reporting into the Concession and Wholesale Senior Buyer, you will proactively support with new partnership accounts and department growth opportunities.
You will have a strong commercial product eye, be able to identify best sellers for each individual partners’ needs from the main product range. The ideal candidate will have established experience working with concession partners across international territories and ideally have experience working with high street retail brands.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyse daily sales data by partner, identifying slow sellers, best sellers and opportunities within the range – Taking action on findings.
• Analyse own brand daily sales to understand best sellers that can be shared with partners.
• Communicating clearly and effectively with the main range buying and merchandising team to align partnership buys with own buy critical paths.
• Share best sellers internally and externally, consistently looking for new product initiatives to drive the business and sales line forward.
• Build and manage the range plans.
• Seasonal lessons learnt and strategy packs – driving out actions that are aligned with the partners and the business.
• Build visual range plans, sharing the range with partners and the Buying and Merch Directors on a regular basis.
• Supporting the Wholesale and Concessions department when appropriate with product rack ups, visual packs for potential new brand partners.
• Attend the weekly partnership calls, building cross functional relationships with partnership teams.
• Ensure all day-to-day account issues are dealt with effectively and efficiently with a customer centric approach.
• Work with the Senior Buyer / Buying Manager on the strategy for the Brands department, ensuring that all Brands are potentialised through concession or wholesale model.
• Manage existing Brands to drive sales, liaising with the Brands contacts and using effective and timely information to influence decision making.
Who we’re looking for:
• You will have either sales, retail or wholesale experience within the fashion industry.
• A commercial product eye is essential, allowing you to identify best sellers for the brand.
• You will be able to demonstrate a solid level of analytical and numeracy capability.
• Highly organised, with a proactive can-do attitude and the ability to thrive in a busy fast-paced, changing environment.
• Established and effective communication skills with experience of working cross functionally.
• You’ll understand the importance of working in a customer centric way.
• Good analytical skills, combined with strong I.T skills, including proficiency in excel.
